Privacy policy

Account details: your email address and password (passwords are stored only as secure hashes by our authentication provider).

Content you upload: the videos you add to Hive, the captions and titles you write or generate, and the post details you create (platforms, scheduled times, status).

Connected accounts: if you connect a TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube account, we store the permission tokens needed to post on your behalf. We never see or store your platform passwords.

To run the service: storing your videos, preparing platform-specific versions, generating caption drafts when you ask, and posting to the platforms you connected at the times you chose.

To communicate with you: account confirmation, password resets, and essential service notices. We do not send marketing email without your consent.

We do not sell your data. We do not use your videos or captions to train AI models.

Videos, posts, and account details are stored in a managed cloud database and private file storage. Video files are not publicly accessible; only you can view your own uploads through your signed-in account.

Caption generation is handled by an AI provider that processes your video's context to write drafts. Drafts are stored with your post and are editable or deletable at any time.

When you connect an account, Hive uses the official TikTok, Instagram (Meta), and YouTube (Google) APIs to publish on your behalf. Those platforms receive the video, caption, and scheduling details for the posts you release, under their own privacy policies.

Hive requests only the permissions needed to upload and publish content. You can disconnect an account at any time from Settings, which revokes Hive's access.

You can delete any video or post inside Hive at any time; this removes it from your workspace.

To delete your account and everything in it, contact us and we will remove your account, videos, posts, and stored platform tokens.
