Terms of service

The rules for using Hive, in plain language: your account, your content, and what happens when things change.

Your account

You need an account with a valid email address to use Hive. You are responsible for keeping your login details safe and for everything done through your account.

You must be old enough to form a binding contract under the laws that apply to you, and you must comply with the terms of every platform you connect to Hive.

Your content

You keep full ownership of every video, caption, and detail you add to Hive. We only store and process them to provide the service.

You confirm that anything you upload or publish through Hive is yours to use, does not infringe anyone else's rights, and follows each platform's content rules.

Hive may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or the law.

How Hive works

Hive prepares platform-specific versions of your videos and, when you connect an account, publishes to the connected platforms on your behalf at the times you choose.

We work hard to keep the service available and accurate, but Hive is provided as is. Scheduled posts depend on the connected platforms' APIs working as expected.

Caption drafts are generated by an AI provider. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before it is published.

Connected accounts

When you connect TikTok, Instagram, or YouTube, you grant Hive permission to publish content on your behalf through that platform's official API. You can disconnect at any time from Settings.

Hive only requests the permissions needed to upload and publish your content, and never sees your platform passwords.

Cancellation and deletion

You can delete any video or post inside Hive at any time. To close your account and delete everything in it, contact us and we will remove your data.

If we suspend your account for breaking these terms, you may not be entitled to a refund for the current period.

Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Hive is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost views, revenue, or platform reach, arising from your use of the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use of Hive after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Questions about these terms: contact the Hive team and we will respond promptly.
